বৰ / বহুত / অলপ
Very, Much and a Little
বৰ is “very”, বহুত is “a lot” and অলপ is “a little”.
How It Works
These words say how much. They stay the same for every noun and every person.
| Word | Meaning | Example |
|---|---|---|
| বৰ | very | তুমি বৰ সাহসী। “You are very brave.” |
| বহুত | a lot of | মোৰ বহুত বন্ধু আছে। “I have many friends.” |
| অলপ | a little, some | মোৰ অলপ চাহ আছে। “I have a little tea.” |
বহুত can also come before a describing word, just like বৰ: বহুত দূৰ “very far”.
অলপ before a describing word means “a bit”. The describing word does not change.
To say you have none, use নাই: মোৰ বন্ধু নাই। “I have no friends.”
