Common -parvar words.

Noun or adjective. The same word can name a person or describe one: U haqiqiy vatanparvar inson (He is a true patriot), insonparvar shifokor (a humane doctor).

The idea itself. Add -lik to name the quality: vatanparvarlik (patriotism), insonparvarlik (humanity, humanism).

Written together. -parvar is an ending, so write it as part of the word: vatanparvar.

Ideals, not snacks. Use -parvar for a country, a people or an ideal. For someone who simply loves eating or drinking something, Uzbek uses -xoʻr: choyxoʻr (a keen tea drinker). The ending -parast also means devoted, but often in a bad way: mansabparast (someone hungry for a high position).
