Omitting an Understood Subject
Verb agreement often permits an unexpressed subject.
How It Works
Verb agreement often permits an unexpressed subject. An explicit pronoun may add contrast, resolve ambiguity or shift the topic; omission is not an instruction to remove every subject noun.
Delam identifies a first-person singular subject without jaz. Prišla je identifies feminine singular but may still need context to identify which woman. Add a name or pronoun when omission would leave the reference unclear.
