Level 3

The imperative has second-person singular and first- and second-person dual and plural forms.

How It Works

The imperative has second-person singular and first- and second-person dual and plural forms. Learn stems such as beri, delaj and pojdi; negation can use ne with the imperative.

A command to one familiar listener can be beri, while polite or plural address uses berite. First-person forms invite shared action: beriva for two readers and berimo for a larger group. Choose the number before choosing the imperative ending.
