brati: berem

Changing Present Stems

Level 2

An infinitive does not always reveal the present stem directly.

How It Works

An infinitive does not always reveal the present stem directly. Brati has berem, bereš, bere, bereva, bereta, beremo, berete, berejo. Learn the first-person present with the infinitive.

Learn brati together with berem and the past participle bral. They share a lexical identity but show different stems. A present dual example, bereta, changes the ending while preserving the present stem bere-.
