čigav
Asking Whose
Čigav agrees with the thing whose owner is being asked about.
How It Works
Čigav agrees with the thing whose owner is being asked about. Masculine čigav, feminine čigava and neuter čigavo are nominative singular forms; the case changes with the phrase's role.
Čigava torba asks who owns a feminine noun; čigav telefon asks the same about a masculine noun. The owner's gender remains unknown. For a direct object, the adjective must change case too, as in Čigavo torbo imaš?
