फेरि
Doing It Again
फेरि means again. It sits before the verb.
How It Works
फेरि means again. It goes before the verb and does not change: म फेरि आउँछु (I will come again), फेरि भन्नुहोस् (please say it again).
The tense of the verb says when. The present can mean the near future, as in English: म फेरि आउँछु. The past says that it already happened again: उनी फेरि आए (he came again). सरिताले फेरि चिया बनाइन् (Sarita made tea again) takes ले because बनाउनु is a transitive verb in the past.
फेरि can also sit at the start of a sentence for emphasis, but the usual place is just before the verb.
पुनः is a more formal word for again that you will mostly see in writing. In everyday speech, फेरि is the word to use.
If you want to ask someone to repeat, say फेरि भन्नुहोस् (say it again) or फेरि एक पटक भन्नुहोस् (say it one more time).
