The order words are पहिल, दोसर and तेसर, then चारिम and पाँचम.
How It Works

The order word comes before the noun it describes: पहिल नोकरी, दोसर दिन, तेसर कक्षा. It does not change for gender or number.
दोसर also means other or another: दोसर लोक (another person). Context tells you which. Use बेर for the number of times: पाँचम बेर (the fifth time).
Hindi पहला and दूसरा are not used. Write पहिल and दोसर.

This is my first job.
पहिल goes before नोकरी.
- दोसर दिन हम गाम गेलहुँ।
On the second day, I went to the village.
दोसर goes before दिन.
- ओ तेसर कक्षा मे पढ़ैत अछि।
She studies in the third class.
तेसर is the third.
- हमर घर चारिम गली मे अछि।
My house is on the fourth street.
चारिम adds -म.
- ई पाँचम बेर अछि।
This is the fifth time.
बेर counts times.

ई हमर पहला नोकरी अछि।ई हमर पहिल नोकरी अछि।पहला is Hindi. Maithili says पहिल.
