か
Hakata: A Traditional Adjective Ending
Traditional Hakata adjective predicates can use -か where standard i-adjectives end in -い.
How It Works
The examples are adjective predicates: 今日も暑か describes heat, and この道は長か describes length. Ordinary standard adjective forms remain valid in modern Fukuoka speech.
Special adjectives and na-adjectives need their own analysis. Do not turn every written い into か or assume that a familiar lexical form generates every possible paradigm mechanically.
The form is especially useful for recognition of local speech. Generation should choose it when the character and register support it rather than treating all younger speakers alike.

- 今日も暑かね。

- この道は長か。
