gaghị: Will Not
gaghị + verb. With I: agaghị m.
How It Works
Gaghị is the future negative.
| Example | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ọ gaghị abịa echi. | He or she will not come tomorrow. |
| Agaghị m abịa. | I will not come. |
| Ha gaghị eri nri. | They will not eat. |
The helper and the negative suffix are one word, gaghị, and the verb follows after a space. The same hyphen rule applies as for naghị: none is written. With m the helper takes an a- in front, giving agaghị m.
