Emphasis on the Object: ka
Focus on the Object: Ka
Ọ bụ + object + ka + the rest.
How It Works
When the focus is an object, ka follows it.
| Say | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Ọ bụ akwụkwọ ka m na-agụ. | It is a book that I am reading. |
| Ọ bụ nri ka ọ chọrọ. | It is food that he or she wants. |
| Ọ bụ Igbo ka anyị na-amụ. | It is Igbo that we are learning. |
The subject comes after ka, and m can come before the verb helper here.
