Together with با and همراه

For a tool or the way you travel, use با, not همراه: با قلم (with a pen), با موتر (by car).

How It Works

Use either word for the person you are with. Use با alone for a tool, a vehicle or together.

Use همراه for company. For a tool or a vehicle, use با.

Both words work with a pronoun: با من (with me), با تو (with you), همراه من (with me).

    با names the vehicle.

    همراه is for company. For a tool, use با.
