ići → idem
Present of Ići
The present of ići is idem, ideš, ide, idemo, idete and idu. It commonly describes going or moving toward a destination.
How It Works
Use idem for I go, ideš for informal singular you go and ide for a singular third-person subject. Plural forms are idemo, idete, idu.
Idem u školu. can describe going to school now or, in a suitable context, attending school regularly. A time phrase may instead make a planned future reading clear.
Ići does not automatically specify walking in every everyday use. To make that explicit, use an appropriate walking expression. Its other tense forms are also irregular: the past participle išao/išla is introduced separately.
