Even
(Even children know.) (He didn't even call me.) Both words mean even.
How It Works
1. Position controls meaning.
(Even Ivan came.) Ivan was the least likely person to come.
(Ivan came even on Sunday.) Sunday was the least likely day.
2. With negation. For not even, put дори or даже before не: Дори не ме погледна. (He didn't even look at me.) For not even one, Bulgarian often uses (Not a single person came.)
(Even a child knows that.)
4. Even if. Before a condition, use дори и да, not дори alone.
5. Even with comparatives. For even better or even more, Bulgarian usually says още: още по-добре (even better), още повече (even more).

Using дори alone for even if.
