NumberWordNumberWord
1एक6छव
2दू7सात
3तीन8आठ
4चार9नौ
5पाँच10दस

Two is दू, with an u sound, not the Hindi दो. Six is छव. You may see छह in writing, but lessons use छव.

The same words tell the time: सात बजे (at seven o'clock).

With things, add गो: दस गो आम (ten mangoes). Alone, the numbers count: एक, दू, तीन.
