Near and in the Presence of with Пры
Пры + locative means at, attached to or in someone's presence: музей пры школе (a museum at the school), Не кажы гэтага пры дзецях. (Do not say that in front of the children.)
How It Works
Пры always takes the locative (locative endings). Its main meanings:
- Belonging to an institution: музей пры школе (a museum at the school), курсы пры ўніверсітэце (courses run by the university).
- In someone's presence: пры дзецях (in front of the children), пры сведках (in front of witnesses), пры мне (around me).
- On one's person, with сабе: У мяне няма пры сабе грошай. (I have no money on me.) Сабе is the locative of сябе.
- Circumstances and conditions: пры святле свечкі (by candlelight), пры жаданні (if you want to).
- A period of rule, in history: пры Вітаўце (under Vytautas).
- Beside, mostly in descriptions: хата пры дарозе (a house by the road).
For plain nearness in everyday speech, каля and ля are more usual, and they take the genitive (каля and ля). For being inside or on something, use у or на.
Pronouns after пры take their locative forms: пры мне, пры табе, пры нас, пры вас (pronoun case forms).

Using сябе after пры.
