mi, me, vi, ve, oni, one
Plural Subject Pronouns
Plural pronouns refer to more than two people.
How It Works
Plural pronouns refer to more than two people. Masculine or mixed groups use mi, vi and oni; all-female groups can use me, ve and one. Vi also addresses one person politely.
Count the people before choosing number. A group of two normally requires the dual even if English simply says we or they. Polite vi is a separate use: one addressee receives plural grammatical agreement.
