The future of byť is budem, budeš, bude, budeme, budete, budú: Zajtra budem doma (I will be at home tomorrow).

How It Works

Use it like the present. Budem works just like som in the present tense of byť: Som doma → Budem doma. Je pekne → Bude pekne.

Negation. Write ne- together with the verb: nebudem, nebudeš, nebude.

There will be. Just as je and sú mean there is and there are, bude and budú mean there will be: Zajtra bude koncert. Budú tam aj deti.
