How It Works

State the requirement. This formal expression makes an agreement conditional: Pasirašysiu su sąlyga, kad pakeisite šį punktą. Future forms are natural for a requirement about what will happen.

One phrase and one clause. Do not automatically put a comma between the main verb and su sąlyga when the phrase is integrated into that clause. The clear clause boundary is before kad.

More than if. A neutral jei clause presents a condition. Su sąlyga, kad often emphasizes an explicit requirement made by a participant.
