Passive Forms of Every Conjugation
Keep the stem vowel and add the passive ending.
How It Works
| Conjugation | I | you (one) | he, she, it | they |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| first | amor | amaris | amatur | amantur |
| second | habeor | haberis | habetur | habentur |
| third | ducor | duceris | ducitur | ducuntur |
| third -io | capior | caperis | capitur | capiuntur |
| fourth | audior | audiris | auditur | audiuntur |
The third conjugation has an e in the second person (duceris) and an i in the third person singular (ducitur). The first person has no vowel: ducor.
The -io verbs keep their i in the first person and in the third person plural: capior and capiuntur. The we and you all forms follow the endings in the entry on passive endings: ducimur, ducimini.
