Go: eo, ire
Go, with endings of its own.
How It Works
| Person | Latin | English |
|---|---|---|
| I | eo | I go |
| you | is | you go |
| he, she | it | he goes |
| we | imus | we go |
| you all | itis | you all go |
| they | eunt | they go |
Is also means he (Level 3), so the sentence shows whether you have the verb or the pronoun. Quo is? means Where are you going?
Other tenses: ibam (I was going) and ibo (I will go). The forms of eo are short, so learn them by heart.
Eo also hides inside longer verbs. Exeo (I go out), redeo (I go back) and introeo (I go in) all use the same endings.
