-노
Busan: An Information Question
Use casual -노 to ask for a missing fact with a question word, rather than a yes/no answer.
How It Works
어디 가노? asks for a destination. The yes/no counterpart 지금 가나? asks whether the person is going now.
Do not append -노 to every sentence to make it sound regional. Ordinary statements are not information questions. Bare present noun predicates use -고; with past-tense material, a noun predicate instead uses -노, as in 어느 학교 학생이었노?.
These examples are casual between familiar people. Preserve polite and honorific speech where the relationship calls for it. Accent and question focus matter in real conversation.
