How It Works
The first conjugation uses future endings such as -faidh and -fidh: molfaidh sé, brisfidh sí. Stem and spelling adjustments vary by verb.
Future endings in the first conjugation reflect the broad or slender stem spelling. Mol gives molfaidh and bris gives brisfidh. The future refers to a later event; it does not use the past stem's initial lenition in an ordinary affirmative sentence.
