How It Works
Connacht usage often favors analytic verb-plus-pronoun patterns. Written standard choices and spoken regional choices are related but not identical.
Analytic verb-plus-pronoun forms are common in Connacht Irish, but are not exclusive to Connacht and are not a complete dialect specification. The examples show that ordinary separate pronouns can supply the subject. Pronunciation and other regional choices still require a consistent local reference.
