Commands to Several People

Level 2

Plural imperatives commonly end in -igí or -aigí: Dúnaigí an doras. They address more than one person.

How It Works

Plural imperatives commonly end in -igí or -aigí: Dúnaigí an doras. They address more than one person.

Address a group with the plural imperative. The endings in examples such as dúnaigí and léigí encode that plural addressee. The correct stem and ending depend on the verb, so it is not always possible to append -igí to the entire singular form.
