haan
The Negative Variant Haan
Haan fills the negative slot in the same basic construction as saan.
How It Works
The primary grammars identify haan as a dialectal or stylistic variant of saan. They do not supply a complete geographic distribution or assign it a separate negative scope. Its ordinary spelling retains both letters in aa; it is not pronunciation notation.
Use the shared negative construction with a linker and predicate. The KWF convention used for these examples selects a before a consonant-initial sound and nga before a vowel-initial sound. Dependent pronouns attach to the negative host: haankami contains exclusive “we.”
Compare Haan a nangina ti libro and Saan a nangina ti libro: both deny that the book is expensive. The variant itself does not encode past or future time, or establish stronger or weaker denial. Aspect and context retain those functions. For a direct absence claim, use awan.

The exclusive subject pronoun attaches to haan.
