Commands to Many: -nụ
Command + nụ: Bịanụ, Gaanụ, Rienụ.
How It Works
The ending -nụ makes a command plural.
| One person | Many people |
|---|---|
| Bịa ebe a. | Bịanụ ebe a. |
| Gaa ụlọ. | Gaanụ ụlọ. |
| Rie nri. | Rienụ nri. |
In a command the ending is usually joined, so there is no space before nụ. The welcome Nnọọ nụ is usually printed apart. Use biko to soften a command, and use the plain command for one person.

How It Connects
Learn This First
The ending -nụ is added to a command, and Nnọọ nụ is where learners first meet it, so commands and Nnọọ come first.
