Verbs With Both Aspects
Организирам, финансирам, анализирам have one form for both aspects. Ще организирам среща (one complete act) and Организирам срещи (repeated or ongoing) use the same verb.
How It Works
1. Which verbs. Many verbs in -ирам or -изирам belong here, including the following illustrated items; check a particular verb’s aspect: организирам (organize), финансирам (finance), анализирам (analyze), регистрирам (register), информирам (inform), оперирам (operate on), характеризирам (characterize). A few native verbs also work both ways, for example благодаря (thank) and sometimes пиша (write): Ще му пиша веднага. (I'll write to him right away.)
2. Reading the aspect from context.
- one complete action, which is common after да or ще: Утре ще организирам среща. (perfective)
- an action in progress: В момента анализираме резултатите. (imperfective)
- a habit: Всяка година училището организира концерт. (imperfective)
3. Past tenses. The illustrated -ирам verbs follow the third conjugation, so the aorist and imperfect are identical in most persons (организирах, организирахме, организираха) and differ only in the second and third person singular. There, the aorist организира presents one finished act, while the imperfect организираше presents an ongoing or repeated one. See aorist versus imperfect.
4. Do not invent a partner for организирам. Do not add a suffix to this verb, as you would with suffix pairs or secondary imperfectives. There is no организиравам. In relaxed speech a few such verbs have gained a prefixed perfective, such as среагирам next to реагирам (react), but whether another plain verb is bi-aspectual or has a partner must be checked individually.

Common Mistakes
Adding an imperfective suffix to a bi-aspectual verb.

Using the imperfect for one finished action.
