In the Form of or for Example
-স্বৰূপে means “as” or “in the form of”: উদাহৰণস্বৰূপে “for example”.
How It Works
স্বৰূপ means “own form, true nature”. With the ending -এ it gives a word that means “in the form of”. Writers use it in histories, news and school books.

Some writers leave a space and write উদাহৰণ স্বৰূপে. Both ways appear in print, and neither is a mistake.
With ফলস্বৰূপে the cause stands before it with -ৰ, as in প্ৰয়াসৰ ফলস্বৰূপে “as a result of an effort”. The stressing ending -ই can follow it: ফলস্বৰূপেই.

For example, til pitha and coconut pitha are made at Bihu.
উদাহৰণস্বৰূপে starts a sentence that gives an example.
- গাঁৱৰ মানুহৰ চেষ্টাৰ ফলস্বৰূপেই বাটটো মেৰামতি হ’ল।
The road was repaired as a result of the villagers’ effort.
ফলস্বৰূপেই follows a noun with -ৰ and names the cause.
