Italian has a polite "you," Lei, that looks just like the word for "she." Ask a stranger "Lei è di qui?" and you mean "Are you from here?" Read Italian with Tu or Lei
Choose how the text talks to you. A text with tu sounds like a friend, and one with Lei sounds like a shop or an office.
I'm learning Italian. I can read simple sentences in the present tense. Write 6 to 8 sentences in Italian about a summer holiday, and use these words: spiaggia, ombrellone, gelato. Use tu with the reader in every sentence. Under the text, list each new noun with il, lo, or la and its meaning in English. For a noun that takes l', say if it's masculine or feminine.
Ask About Essere and Avere
The passato prossimo uses essere with some verbs and avere with others, as in sono andata but ho mangiato. Ask about the verbs in your sentence.
I found this Italian sentence: "Siamo andati al mare ieri." If it uses the passato prossimo, tell me why the verb takes essere or avere. Point out any ending that changed to match a person or a noun. Then give me three short sentences to finish with the right helper verb, and check my answers.
Order at a Coffee Bar
In Italy, a bar is often where people stop for a coffee. Practice ordering and paying.
Let's role-play in Italian. You work at a coffee bar in Rome, and I'm ordering a coffee and a pastry. Use Lei with me, and keep each line short. Wait for my reply each time. Tell me the total and ask how I'll pay. When we're done, give me three phrases I can use at a bar in Italy.

Check Double Letters and Endings
Double letters are easy to drop when you write. Ask ChatGPT to flag any word where a missing letter makes a different word.
Here's an Italian text I wrote: "Paste what you wrote here" Check verb endings, noun and adjective agreement, and double consonants. If I wrote a single letter where there should be two, or the other way around, say which word I wrote by mistake. Give each fix a one-line reason in English.
