Memrise doesn't have its own Lithuanian course. The course menu on its Lithuanian page, read on October 24, 2026, lists courses from Arabic to Swahili, and Lithuanian isn't one of them. That page points you to lists of words that other learners put together, and you can start a list of your own.
Ling and Pimsleur both have Lithuanian courses, and our Lithuanian app comparison describes them.
Bubblegum
For serious learners, Bubblegum is the best app to learn Lithuanian. You learn from Lithuanian you can mostly understand, which is called comprehensible input.
Poppy, your AI tutor, writes Lithuanian lessons in Bubblegum around your own plans, like a weekend in Vilnius or a phone call with your grandmother in Kaunas.
- Tap a noun or a verb to see its table of forms, opened at the form you just read.
- Paste a Lithuanian word list into Import Vocab, and Regenerative Review™ works those words into your next lessons.
- Clear, expressive AI voices read every lesson aloud, with a different voice for each speaker.
- Import Vocab reads a photo or text you paste, so it can't open an Anki deck file.
- A new custom lesson costs us real money to make, so your first one is free, and Bubblegum Pro gives you unlimited custom lessons. The lesson library is free for everyone, because we believe everyone should be able to learn.

Glossika teaches whole Lithuanian sentences, like Šiandien puikus oras (The weather's nice today), and they get harder as you go.
- You hear the Lithuanian sentences in recordings from native speakers.
- The Lithuanian course runs from level A1 up to C1.
- If you already know some Lithuanian, a placement test finds your starting point.

- Twelve Lithuanian stories, such as The Passport and A Very Big Family, each with audio.
- Switch on listening mode, and a story plays to the end with no questions.
MobileWeb

HelloTalk
On HelloTalk, a Lithuanian speaker practices your language with you while you practice Lithuanian with them.
- Message Lithuanian speakers by text or voice, or call them on video.
- Post in Lithuanian, and native speakers correct your grammar.

Which Lithuanian app should a beginner choose?
If you are serious about learning Lithuanian, start with Bubblegum. Poppy writes lessons at your level about things you like. Or start with Duostories if you'd like to hear short stories first.
Does Duolingo teach Lithuanian?
No. Duolingo's course list had no Lithuanian course on October 14, 2026, the day we checked. Is Lithuanian on Duolingo? names other Lithuanian apps.
Is Bubblegum free?
Yes. The lesson library is free for everyone, because we believe everyone should be able to learn. It holds lessons that other learners asked Poppy for. A new custom lesson costs us real money to make, so your first one is free, and Bubblegum Pro gives you unlimited custom lessons.
