Is Busan Korean on Duolingo? What to Use Instead in 2026

Quick answer

No. Duolingo has a single Korean course, and its October 15, 2026 course list shows no course for Busan Korean or the Gyeongsang dialect. For a dialect course, try Talk To Me In Korean or KoreanClass101; to find a tutor or partner from Busan, look on italki or Tandem; and for lessons written in Busan Korean at your level, try Bubblegum.

Duolingo's course list, read on October 15, 2026, has a single Korean course, offered from 28 languages. It has no course for Busan Korean or for Gyeongsang, the dialect group Busan belongs to.

Busan speech asks questions in its own way. A question with a question word in it ends in 노, as in 니 와 그라노? ("Why are you acting like that?"), and a yes-or-no question ends in 나. The apps below teach these forms, or let you hear them from people who grew up with them. For videos and English guides, see our Busan Korean guide.
