How a Syllable Ends
Good news! A Thai syllable can end in only 8 sounds: k, t, p, ng, n, m, y and w.
Many more letters than that get written at the end, and different letters often make the same sound.
When a syllable ends in k, t or p, you stop the sound instead of letting it out. Your mouth gets into position and stays there.
