This course is *optional* for curious learners. You don't need it to read Korean, but it explains why some words sound different than you expect.
Here are the two patterns you'll learn in this chapter:
1. Liaison (연음화). When a batchim meets a silent ㅇ and a vowel, the batchim consonant flows over to the next syllable.
2. Nasalization (비음화). When stop consonants meet nasal sounds (ㄴ, ㅁ), they often change to match.
