Going in the Past

Level 2

How It Works

Téigh uses chuaigh independently and deachaigh in dependent contexts: Chuaigh sé abhaile; Ní dheachaigh sé; An ndeachaigh sé?

Téigh has independent past chuaigh and dependent deachaigh. Ní lenites the dependent stem and an eclipses it. The destination phrase follows the same ordinary choices, such as abhaile for homeward movement.
