ka: So That, To
gwa + person + ka + clause.
How It Works
An order passed on to someone uses ka.
| Say | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Gwa ya ka ọ bịa. | Tell him or her to come. |
| Gwa ha ka ha gaa. | Tell them to go. |
| Kpọọ ya ka ọ bịa. | Call him or her to come. |
The verb after ka is plain. The same ka also joins a purpose to an action.
The person you tell comes right after gwa, and the same person is the subject after ka: Gwa ya ka ọ bịa. The verb after ka is the plain form, as in the other ka lessons.
