γιατί επειδή
Giving a Reason
Γιατί or επειδή can introduce a clause explaining why something happens.
How It Works
Γιατί or επειδή can introduce a clause explaining why something happens.
These clauses use ordinary finite verb forms. Γιατί also asks why in questions, whereas επειδή normally introduces a reason; the two words are not interchangeable in every conversational position.
