Having Something in a Resulting State
Έχω can take an object and an agreeing participle describing that object's state.
How It Works
Έχω can take an object and an agreeing participle describing that object's state.
In έχω την πόρτα κλεισμένη, κλεισμένη agrees with πόρτα. This differs from the invariant complement of έχω κλείσει, which forms the ordinary perfect and does not agree with the object.
