Aspect With Unrelated-Looking Stems
Some common verbs use very different stems across present and perfective forms.
How It Works
Some common verbs use very different stems across present and perfective forms.
Τρώω/φάω/έφαγα and βλέπω/δω/είδα must be learned as connected paradigms. The stem difference carries aspect and tense information; it is not a new verb meaning by itself.
