All you need is a card from a library that offers Mango, and Mango's site says thousands of libraries, schools, and colleges do. You link your card to a Mango profile once, and then you can learn on the web or in the Mango app.
The quickest way to check is the search on Mango's Find Mango page. In the US and Canada, you can search by ZIP or postal code. Anywhere else, type the name or the town of your library or school. If you still aren't sure, Mango's support team can check for you if you tell them your city and country.
- Make a Mango ProfileSign up on mangolanguages.com or in the Mango app for iPhone or Android. If you already have a profile, just log in.

- Pick Your LibrarySearch by your library's name or its postal code, and choose it from the list.
- Enter Your Card NumberType your library card number, and your PIN if your library uses one. Some libraries send you to their own website to sign in instead.
- Start LearningWhen Mango says your profile is linked, the locked lessons open, and you can start any language.

Mango Languages
Mango teaches through real conversations recorded by native speakers, with grammar and culture notes inside each lesson. After your profile is linked, you log in at mangolanguages.com or in the Mango app, so you don't need to visit your library's website each time.
- Your library card opens all of Mango's 70+ languages, plus English courses.
- Share your access with up to five family members.
- Every cardholder can use it at the same time, at the library, at home, or on the go.
- Placement tests show you where to start.

Bubblegum
Bubblegum is the best app for serious learners. You learn from text and audio you can mostly understand, which is called comprehensible input.
Poppy, your AI tutor, writes each lesson for you, and you can ask her about any line you don't understand.
- Poppy writes a lesson about any topic you choose, at your level.
- Every lesson has audio, so you hear each line as you read it.
- Regenerative Review™ puts each word you save into a later lesson for you to read again.
- Clear, expressive AI voices read every lesson aloud, with a different voice for each speaker.
- Lessons come only from Poppy, so a book you own won't show up as one. Send her a photo of a page, and she explains it.
- A new custom lesson costs us real money to make, so your first one is free, and Bubblegum Pro gives you unlimited custom lessons. The lesson library is free for everyone, because we believe everyone should be able to learn.

Why does Mango say my library card number is invalid?
Type the number with no spaces, and check that the card is from the library that offers Mango. If you don't know your PIN or sign-in details, your library can help.
Is Bubblegum free?
Yes. The lesson library is free for everyone, because we believe everyone should be able to learn. It holds lessons that other learners asked Poppy for. A new custom lesson costs us real money to make, so your first one is free, and Bubblegum Pro gives you unlimited custom lessons.
