Is Estonian on Duolingo? What to Use Instead in 2026

Quick answer

No. Duolingo's course list, which we read on October 14, 2026, had no Estonian course. For an ordered course, try Speakly or Ling; for sentence audio, try Glossika; for word practice, try Lingvist, Drops, or uTalk; and for lessons written for you, try Bubblegum.

Estonian isn't on Duolingo. We checked the whole course list on Duolingo's own site on October 14, 2026, and no course there teaches Estonian.

Several apps teach Estonian in quick lessons you can do on your phone. They're grouped as courses, sentence audio, and word practice. Reading tools, tutors, and exchange partners each get a section in our best apps to learn Estonian.

Custom Lessons Made for You

Bubblegum

For serious learners, Bubblegum is the best app to learn Estonian. You learn from Estonian you can mostly understand, which is called comprehensible input.

Poppy, your AI tutor, writes your Estonian lessons in Bubblegum. If you're starting a job in Tallinn, she can write a talk with your new team over lunch, and you can read and hear every line.

You can't hold a live chat with anyone in Bubblegum. For speaking practice, see the tutors and partners in our full Estonian comparison.
